- Read-only access to GA4, Meta Events Manager, ad accounts and Shopify — revoked when the report is accepted
- Order-level reconciliation against Shopify orders; the last 30 days as the baseline window, as far as the data is available
- For material gaps in scope: the confirmed cause, or what stays unknown, why, and how to verify it — defects, normal measurement differences and unconfirmed hypotheses kept apart
- Written conclusion with the evidence, plus the priority next step
- A fixed price for the fix only where the scope is definable, valid 30 days; implementation is a separate purchase

“From” is the smallest suitable bounded scope, not the bill for any problem: for your task you get one sum and the acceptance criteria before payment, and a change of scope is agreed before any extra work. Both kinds are quoted as one fixed number in writing before the work starts, and the number does not change during the work. A small, clearly simple question can be a working session instead of being turned into a project.

The store’s setup decides the final number — markets, currencies, checkout customisations, how much old tracking has to be retired. Where the cause is not yet known, the quote comes out of the Health Check conclusion; where it is known, it comes straight from the discussion.

Fixel Pixel Setup
If you use Fixel Pixel and would rather not do the standard connection yourself: I connect one store to up to two already-supported destinations and check the agreed path — the destinations, the event to verify and the completion criterion are named before you pay. Not required to use the app, and not a fee for access or for help with ordinary use: the standard instructions and the help included in your plan stay included. If you use Fixel Pixel, defects of features you already pay for are fixed as product support — free, never sold as a Focused Fix.

Why is the diagnosis paid?
Because it is the work: evidence, a written conclusion and a plan you can hand to your team or another specialist. It can end with "nothing is wrong", and that is a valid result.
Do I have to buy the Health Check before a fix?
No. If the task is already clear, I can quote the implementation directly. If we first need to establish the cause or scope, we agree a separate diagnostic engagement. Software, implementation work and independent engineering are different purchases; there is no mandatory audit → implementation → app sequence.
Is Fixel Pixel Setup required?
No. The app’s own instructions and the support included in its plans stay free. Setup is for Fixel Pixel users who want me to do the connection for them.
What is the difference between the free storefront tracking check and the paid Health Check?
The free check (no signup, about 10 seconds) reads the tags your public storefront loads — Run the free check →. It cannot see your server-side delivery or ad-reporting history. The Health Check investigates one agreed question using the relevant read-only access and produces a written conclusion with its limitations.
I paid for a diagnosis. Does it count towards the fix?
Work already done for the same problem is not charged twice: the fix quote lists the research that still applies and the new work separately. Example: the full scope is agreed at USD 950 and the diagnosis from that scope, USD 395, is already paid — the remainder is USD 555. A diagnosis is not a general discount on an unrelated task.
What if the quote is more than I expected?
If the quote doesn’t work for you, you owe nothing for the discussion. If you bought a Health Check, the report is yours either way — take it to another specialist or fix the parts yourself.
How do I pay?
You get one fixed price and the acceptance criteria before you pay anything; the quote says when payment is due. Invoice with card or bank transfer, or through Upwork if you prefer its escrow. Prices are before applicable taxes and the total is shown before you buy; EU businesses: reverse-charge VAT with a valid VAT number. The currency is fixed by the catalogue you buy from — USD or EUR — not converted.
Do prices differ by store size?
The Health Check does not. A Focused Fix or a project can, because a store with six markets and three currencies has more to reconcile — that is what decides the final number.
Do you offer a guarantee?
For tracking implementations, every fix is validated on a real order and comes with a reconciliation against your Shopify orders before it is accepted. Integration and application work is accepted instead against the acceptance criteria agreed in the quote. Either way, defects in what was delivered, inside the original scope, are fixed free for 30 days; new requirements, third-party changes and unrelated problems are separate scope. This is not a guarantee that different attribution systems will agree with each other, that ROAS or revenue will grow, or that any rollback takes under an hour.
Is the Health Check a pre-sale of Fixel Pixel?
No. It is an independent investigation; the app may come up as one option, disclosed as mine and with alternatives, never as the mandatory outcome of a diagnosis. The Setup is a separate optional purchase for people who already use the app.
