Describe my task

How I solve it

What I build

I prepare a candidate with a defined installation and uninstall lifecycle, billing behaviour, privacy webhook handling and store isolation. I record readiness gaps before promising a submission. A candidate verdict states what passed and which blockers remain.

The process

How it works

6 steps. Scope and a fixed price are agreed before the first one.

  1. Inventory assumptions tied to the original store and choose the intended distribution route.

  2. Review the current platform requirements against that route before agreeing the build.

  3. Implement installation, access and isolation checks with synthetic fixtures.

  4. Test billing states and privacy-request handling within the agreed scope.

  5. Test uninstall, reinstallation and recovery from interrupted steps.

  6. Prepare the candidate evidence and list unresolved submission blockers.

Handover

What you get

  • A bounded candidate-readiness implementation.
  • Lifecycle checks and a written pass/blocker record.
  • Handover material for a submission when the remaining gates are met.

Built with

  • The existing app
  • supported Shopify interfaces
  • billing integration
  • privacy webhook handlers
  • per-store configuration
  • lifecycle tests and a readiness checklist
  • Current platform requirements are an input to each engagement

Before → after

The intended change is from a store-specific app to a candidate whose agreed distribution paths can be checked. The referenced scheduler edition is deployed, but billing is in test mode and submission blockers remain. There is no app listed yet; this is not a claim of completed App Store distribution.

  • Scheduler app edition

deployed but not submitted, with billing in test mode and submission blockers still open in the plan. A related custom shipping app is a pilot limited to its original deployment. Neither establishes an App Store listing.

What you can look at

I would prepare a synthetic install, billing-state change, privacy request and uninstall walkthrough, with a readiness verdict. The public sample is still to prepare and would contain no store or account identifiers.

Product backing is a deployed candidate edition and a related pilot. No app listed yet. Billing in the referenced edition is in test mode; open readiness blockers remain. Product and client names are omitted.

Price and timeline

What it costs and how it runs

A Custom Engineering Project starts from USD 1,500. I agree the readiness scope and delivery date in writing. Platform review, approval and later requirements are separate from that delivery date.

A note from Daniilbefore you decide

When you don’t need this

If the app will serve only its original store, a supported custom distribution route may be sufficient. Choose the distribution need before paying for candidate-readiness work.

Questions

What people ask about this

Do you guarantee App Store approval?

No. I deliver the agreed readiness work and evidence. Shopify decides whether to accept a submission.

Does test billing prove paid distribution works?

No. Test billing, the live payment lifecycle and distribution approval are separate things to verify.
